Emiliano Santalucia

Emiliano Santalucia began his career working on comic book series such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, and his much beloved work on Masters of the Universe. But it didn’t take long for him to pursue his true calling: becoming a designer for toys, animated series, and films—a role he has been performing for twelve years as a freelancer for Hasbro, Mondo, Bandai, Super7, and other companies.

He has created designs for hundreds of products from well-known brands including Transformers, Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, Iron Man, Mazinger Z, and many others, and has also contributed to the concept work for the Transformers films. He is the designer behind Mondo’s Masters of the Universe and Thundercats lines.

In 2021, he and some friends founded their own toy company Formo Toys, which produces the action figure lines Legends of Dragonore, Warriors of the Galaxy, and The Savage World of Frazetta.
