Power-Con partners with VetTix for 2019

As a proud supporter of the United States Armed Forces, Power-Con has partnered with VetTix in 2019. This will provide an opportunity for some of the amazing servicemen and servicewomen of the US’s military to come take part in Power-Con’s He-Man and She-Ra toy and comic book experience.

“In my twenty years of working with the fan community, I’ve always been amazed at the number of active service members and veterans who are also fans of He-Man and She-Ra.” said Val Staples, Event Director of Power-Con. “We’re all very proud that there are fans of Masters of the Universe and Princess of Power who have not only served in defense of our country, but have aided in humanitarian relief and rescue operations across the world. Working with VetTix was one way all of us at Power-Con could show our appreciation for their service.”

“Power-Con truly understands our mission to give back and we are excited for our veterans to experience this special event. I know our VetTix veterans who grew up with He-Man and She-Ra will thoroughly enjoy themselves.” said VetTix Representative, Jennifer K. Kirk, MSgt, United States Air Force, Retired (1992-2012).

VetTix provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. They support US troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country.

VetTix provides tickets to all US branches of currently-serving military and veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA. Giving to veterans and supporting the transitions back into their families and communities, is a gift of gratitude in which we all can take part. VetTix wants to honor and support those that served and sacrificed so much.
