Update on Attendee & Non-Attendee exclusives
Here is the latest update on the status of the Power-Con MOTU Origins exclusives.
We’re still working on the shipping quotes. It’s a bit slower going as we have to separate out non-toy items that have already been picked up by Attendees at the convention, and that process is a bit more involved than originally anticipated. Our apologies! We hope to start e-mailing Attendees by the end of next week (Friday, Oct 1st) to see if Attendees want a refund on their MOTU Origins toy pre-orders or if they will pay S/H to send them their way.
As far as the MOTU Origins exclusives themselves, we’re happy to say we have confirmation that the Horde 4-Packs and Faker 2-Packs are in route and should be in our hands the week of October 8th (see the grainy photo used in the header of this new post). The Grayskull accessory exclusives are not yet in route. We did not get an explanation if they are stuck at the dock or not, but we were told to expect those anywhere from mid-October to mid-November. What we will do is fulfill Attendee orders first for those who just ordered 2-Packs and 4-Packs, followed by Non-Attendee orders for the same. Then we’ll handle the remaining orders once the Grayskull accessory packs arrive.
Fans saw that Mattel made extra of the Power-Con exclusives and pre-sold those the Monday after Power-Con. For those who have asked, we receive none of the sales from the extra that Mattel sold. But we’ve been told that each MOTU Origins exclusive sold via Power-Con (and our partner BBTS) will bear the Power-Con logo and will also come packed with a special trading card, both of which will be missing from each of the extra exclusives pre-sold on Mattel Creations. We’ll have photos of the Power-Con editions soon!
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this is sorted out. We know it’s been frustrating and we apologize for any inconvenience that this situation has created for you. We’ll share more info as it becomes available!
