Mark Taylor is a former Mattel artist best known for creating and designing many characters for the vintage Masters of the Universe toyline including key players He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, and even Castle Grayskull. He became a Senior Vice President at Mattel during the first He-Man relaunch (aka the New Adventures of He-Man). Lending his talents outside the brand, Taylor also worked on the highly successful Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
